Sarah Jessica Parker has many things in common with her ‘Sex and the City’ character Carrie Bradshaw and one of them is a love for shoes, especially ones created by Mahnolo Blahnik.
And now she’s living out the fantasy of every true shoe fetishist…closets full of countless shoes, courtesy her very own brand new shoe line! Yeah you read that right. SJP is launching a shoe line.
In true keeping with SJP/Carrie Bradshaw love for all things Mahnolo Blahnik, SJP has partnered with George Malkemus who is the CEO of Mahnolo Blahnik for the launch of her collection of gorgeous shoes.
The shoes, marketed under the brand name SJP, will be available at Nordstrom department stores across the country starting February 28.
The collection features more than two dozen styles, and yes there is a ‘Carrie shoe’ in the collection!
“I’ve taken inspiration from things in my life such as the grosgrain ribbons I tied in my hair as a girl, to the flower accents from the ‘Sex and the City’ wardrobe, to references to classic styles from the late ’70s and early ’80s. I’m a firm believer in quality and timelessness and have created this collection with the hopes that women will love wearing it for years to come,” the Sex and the City star said in a statement.
